Yazz range of products, produced by Lexta Ghana Limited has sponsored the Ghana Police Public Affairs Unit of the Greater Accra Region to educate students at St. Mary’s Senior High School, Korle Gonno (Opposite Korle-Bu Hospital) on security tips on kidnapping.
The activity, pioneered by the Public Affairs Unit of the Accra Regional Police and led by the Public Relations Officer, DSP Afia Tengey educated the students on various ways to stay safe, considering the increasing spate of Kidnappings that the country has been experiencing.
DSP Afia Tengey and her team used a short drama to show the gathered female students the means many Kidnappers use to hold somebody against his or her will today, the 10th of July, 2019. The students who were excited watching the drama were later led by the Accra Regional PRO in an interaction of what you need to do to prevent any case of kidnappings.
Some of the 12 Security Tips on Kidnapping that was shared by the Public Affairs Unit included;
- Be mindful of personal information posted on social media
- Decline odd job offers from people you hardly know
- Be careful of free rides, undue demands and gifts and strangers.
Branded Yazz materials such as Note books, Caps and T Shirts were distributed to the students to encourage them to participate in the engagements. The Head of Marketing and Sales of Lexta Ghana Company Limited, producers of Yazz, Seth Ntiamoah-Asare, added his voice to the security tips that was given and urged the students to take their studies serious and also abide by the security tips. In his closing remarks, he stated that, the company, Lexta Ghana Limited through its brands Yazz, Hooch and Roxx is dedicated to ensuring that, its cherished customers like the students are always safe.
